Health and Safety Coordinator

Shift: Days - Monday to Friday

Positions Available:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Currently seeking an individual to fill the role of Health and Safety Coordinator. Full-time salary position with a minimum 40 hours/week required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safety support and information to employees.
  • Identify safety-training needs and coordinate safety-training programs.
  • Assist in the selection of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Promote safety awareness through communication and specific training programs.
  • Review incident reports and follow-up as necessary.
  • Develop and monitor company safety goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate and oversee monthly Safety Committee meetings.
  • Analyze safety trends and make recommendations to leadership.
  • Facilitate and Instruct Aerial Lift Training Course Once a Month on Saturdays.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Safety Certifications an asset.
  • 4+ years prior safety experience an asset.
  • 4+ years heavy equipment/shop experience an asset.
  • Supervisory experience an asset.
  • Forklift, aerial equipment certification and reach-truck driving experience an asset.
  • Train-the-Trainer Certificate an asset.

Dwight Crane Ltd is currently seeking an energized, forward thinking and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our team to take care of maximizing our digital and social media presence along with ensuring our marketing potential is of the highest level of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Website maintenance (WordPress)
  • SEO, Paid Search, targeted display ads and GEO fencing (Work with agency for these features)
  • Manage social media apps – Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat
  • Design, manage all advertising materials – brochures, flyers, Constant Contact Mailers
  • Work with any advertising agencies – radio, TV, billboards, venues, etc.

Requirements:

  • WordPress
  • Corel Draw and/or Adobe Illustrator
  • Final Cut / YouTube
  • Constant Contact (Easy training for this product)
  • All Social Media Platforms
  • Dreamweaver (is an asset, not required)
  • Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Word and Excel

Aerial Lift (Heavy Duty) Mechanic

Shift: Afternoons - Monday to Thursday - 1:00pm to 11:30pm

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced mechanic with a minimum of (3) years’ experience in the inspection, diagnosis, repair and servicing of mechanical, electrical, propane and hydraulic systems of various equipment, particularly scissors lifts and zoom booms.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot the various systems to identify any issues
  • Adjust and repair systems according to manufacturer’s specifications and established safe mechanical procedures.
  • Perform PDI’s, preventative maintenance services and annual inspections on equipment.
  • Review, understand and complete applicable service updates, bulletins and campaigns.
  • Dismantle systems for repair, replacement, overhaul, modification, reassemble and install.
  • Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records, log books and computerized records.
  • Handle customer telephone service inquiries and perform outside on-road service repairs.
  • Ensure standards for safe working conditions are followed and participate in all Company safety training programs and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Flexible and able to work overtime and weekends when deemed necessary for the completion of work.
  • Although we provide an array of shop tools and equipment, you must provide your own basic mechanical tools.
  • Must have valid and clean driver's license.
  • Excellent communication skills (English), both oral and written.
  • Hydraulic and Propane Experience an Asset
  • Previous Aerial Lift Experience an Asset
  • Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
